1972 Honda CB350FThis was a big of an impulse buy. I have no need for this bike whatsoever. It was a complete basket case, but it looked like something cheap I could spend free time putting back together. I don't have any free time, but if I ever do, now I know what I'm going to do with it. I didn't realize when first saw this that it was a four-cylinder engine. I figured it was just a normal two-cylinder CB350. But after reading up on it a little, I figured this would be a cool bike to add to the fleet.

So, it is an air-cooled four-cylinder 350cc engine that revs out to 10,000 RPM. It makes about 34 hp at 9500 RPM, and will top out at ~100 mph. You get all the power of a Ninja 250R, but with classic styling, and questionable reliability. Sounds awesome!
Good and Bad
Good:
Hey, for $200, how can you pass this up? If things go terrible, I should be able to part it out on eBay for $500 or more, and help keep other CB350F's on the road. But, if I can get a title for it, get it running (it turns over smoothly, and has compression), it might make a fun local runabout. I'm thinking about making a mini adventure out of the bike, possibly using an inverted fork/brakes from a sportbike (with spoked wheels and street knobies). In the rear, I might try to find a newer swingarm (disk brake?) that keeps the twin shocks. I'm thinking about using up-turned KTM hockey stick mufflers on each side. Possibly a more teardrop shaped fuel tank

Bad:
- No title
- Partially disassembled
- Needs about 100 hours of time, and $1000 in parts to be worth $1000
- Everyone is build cafe racers of of these and CB twins
Future Plans
If I can title it, I would just like to get it running, then make it something to put around town with. It's never going to be a good long-distance companion. In reality, the long-range plan would probably to get it in the hands of someone else.
